Ways to join
Choose the route that best matches your career stage, research plans and proposed timing.
TERG welcomes enquiries from students seeking research experience, summer placements, dissertation projects or research-master’s opportunities, subject to supervision and space.
Include your programme and year, project requirements, available dates, relevant skills and preferred TERG PI if known. A CV can be requested later if needed.
Prospective doctoral researchers can enquire about advertised studentships, scholarship applications and opportunities to develop a funding proposal with a TERG PI.
Include your degree and relevant experience, research interests, proposed start date, preferred PI and any scholarship or funding route you are considering. A CV can be requested later if needed.
TERG considers research visits from doctoral candidates whose projects align with the group’s expertise and who have support from their home supervisor and institution.
Explain the purpose and proposed dates of the visit, host PI, techniques or facilities required, funding, and approval from your home supervisor.
Postdoctoral positions are advertised when funded. TERG also welcomes early conversations with strong candidates preparing suitable national, European or international fellowship applications.
Include your publication record, research proposal or fellowship scheme, eligibility, deadline and preferred TERG PI. A CV can be requested later if needed.
