Outreach & PPI

Research shaped with people, not only for them.

TERG connects patients, public contributors, schools, charities and researchers so that health research is relevant, inclusive and grounded in lived experience.

People at the centre

Participation across the research journey.

01

Patient and public involvement

TERG works to embed meaningful patient and public involvement throughout RCSI-led research, helping teams develop questions, methods and outcomes with the people their work is intended to benefit.

02

Spinal-cord injury advisory group

With AMBER and the IRFU Charitable Trust, TERG brought clinicians, people living with spinal-cord injury, scientists, engineers and PPI researchers together to guide a spinal-cord repair programme.

03

Schools and STEM

Researchers engage with local schools and the AMBER outreach programme to introduce young people to science, engineering and research careers. School visits can be discussed with the TERG team.

05

Humanarium

RCSI’s Humanarium at 118 St Stephen’s Green is a public exhibition and event space where communities can explore health science and join conversations about healthier futures.
